Types of dental veneers

Composite veneers have a shorter life span than ceramic veneers. Composite veneers are less resilient than ceramic veneers, so you may need touch-ups, but these are easily done.

Ceramic Dental Veneers

Ceramic dental veneers have the same function as composite veneers. However, they are made in a laboratory, much like a false nail molded for your tooth and cemented to its face.

You will need to make two appointments for the entire procedure: the first one is to prepare the tooth and take the impression that will be used to make the dental veneers in the laboratory. The second appointment will allow the dentist to cement the veneer onto the tooth.
