What is INVISALIGN™?
INVISALIGN™ is an invisible orthodontic treatment that realigns or closes spaces between your teeth to give you the smile you’ve always dreamt of! The principle is simple: a series of customized transparent aligners are changed regularly (approximately every two weeks), gently shifting your teeth into the desired position.
How long does the INVISALIGN™ process last?
Each case is unique and your Lapointe Dental Centre professional can tell you precisely how long your treatment will last. We can say, though, that in some cases, treatment can last just a few months, while in other cases it can last up to three years (as with standard braces). It all depends on the complexity of the misalignment.
What does INVISALIGN™ treatment cost in Québec?
Once again, each case is unique, since each treatment is tailored specifically to that patient. For minor adjustments, the cost is normally around $4,000. More complex cases can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $8,500. Only your oral health care professional can set the price, based on your needs. Numerous modes of payment and financing are available.

Can I eat what I like with INVISALIGN™?
Contrary to regular braces, INVISALIGN™ imposes no restrictions on what you eat. Since you remove the invisible aligners before eating, your diet needn’t change at all.
How often do I need to come into the clinic?
As with regular braces, regular follow-up is crucial. Appointments are on average 4 to 6 weeks apart. However, unlike braces, there is no need to adjust any brackets or the tension in the metal wire. For this reason, your visits to your Lapointe Dental Centre will be much shorter.
