123Dentiste Québec Inc. is currently looking for someone with a passion for communications and event planning. If you are resourceful, proactive, love teamwork and are constantly on the lookout for new technological trends, this challenge is for you.  Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Director, the Coordinator’s main responsibility is to highlight and enhance the visibility of the company’s brand. Working with colleagues across the company, as well as with business partners and suppliers, you will manage communication assignments via digital and conventional media, corporate events, and other internal and external communication channels.

 

Position description

Communications

  • Assist the HR department in implementing recruitment initiatives on various digital platforms and monitor outcomes;
  • Keep abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and competitors;
  • Participate in producing a communication plan and draft internal communiqués;
  • Create and update various HR communication and marketing tools (brochures, print and digital content) and ensure translation of content;
  • Work closely with our social media agency for the editorial calendar and monthly content planning.

 

Events

  • Organize internal events and plan services dedicated to employees to ensure team building conducive to corporate culture (in collaboration with the HR team);
  • Receive various sponsorships and be responsible for organizing corporate and recruitment events (10-15 per year).

 

Other marketing-related tasks

  • Take part in media monitoring and various brainstorming sessions;
  • Support team for all recruitment project requests (employees and professionals);
  • Update and coordinate various internal and external printing projects (promotional items, stationery, etc.);
  • Act as the point of contact for Lapointe radio requests (in-house);
  • Coordinate media placements in trade magazines (4 times a year);
  • Work closely and cross-functionally with other departments.

 

General profile required

  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative;
  • Detail-oriented and well-structured in order to meet requirements in a timely manner;
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues, internal customers and external suppliers;
  • Excellent knowledge of social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok;
  • Good knowledge and mastery of one of the software packages used in computer graphics: Canva, Acrobat, Adobe;
  • Experience in coordinating events such as trade shows and fairs;
  • Dynamic and motivated in the face of new challenges.

 

Position requirements

  • University degree in communications or marketing, or equivalent;
  • Minimum 0-2 years experience in a position related to social media coordination, communications and organizing events;
  • Excellent knowledge of social media and how they work;
  • Excellent knowledge of various web advertising tools and how advertising placements work;
  • Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken;
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • A portfolio is an asset;
  • Ability to travel for certain events.
